Our
Vision
With more than 19 different cities and towns in Lake
County, each with their own governing bodies, Lake County
Drug Free Alliance is working with these communities
to realize its vision of: An Organization of Leadership
and Service in Building Drug Free Communities. In uniting
under one coalition one comes to the understanding that
this collaboration allows the county to accomplish together
what it could not possibly accomplish alone. In connecting
the vital diverse sectors of the community, including
law enforcement, treatment providers, prevention specialists,
businesses, parents, youth, faith-based organizations,
health providers, judiciary, media and government, all
of the partners gain a more complete understanding of
the problem presented by drug, alcohol, tobacco and
other addiction issues and how to comprehensively approach
substance abuse, addictions, and their related problems. |
